Christmas Hand-Painted Plate with Stars and Vine, by Our Backyard Studio in Washington State.
This plate is made using an old decorative plate destined for the trash heap. It is painted a beautiful burnt red color, antiqued with dark brown around the edges for depth. Features a hand-painted greenery vine, four stars, and "Christmas" in golden/mustard yellow.
NO computers/vinyl/transfers/stencils were used, it was painted completely free-hand, using our own design.
Measures approx 6-5/8 inches square, and 7/8 inches deep.
Back is also painted, and signed by the artist. Finished with a satin protective varnish. Indoor, decorative use only (not for using with unwrapped food). Clean with a soft cloth, do not get wet.
This is a handmade item, not a reproduction - while meticulous attention has been placed on quality, it is not machine-reproduced-perfection. As with all hand-made artwork, brush-strokes are visible, and little imperfections that are characteristic of an item uniquely and lovingly made by the human hand.
