Terms & Conditions

Order Processing Time:  We strive to ship each order immediately for items in stock, but to be safe please allow 1-5 business days for your order to be shipped.  If an item is expected to take longer, it will be noted in the product description. Shipping time is 2-5 business days for orders shipped within the continental US. We ship from Washington State.

Back-orders:  We work to keep our website as accurate as possible, however since we also have a physical retail storefront, on occasion we run out of a product before we can update the website. We promise to keep you informed if we anticipate any delay in fulfilling your order - If an item you have ordered is currently out of stock, we will work with you to either ship the item immediately upon its arrival or to work out a solution that is to your satisfaction. 

Special Orders:
We are happy to special order an item(s) not in stock just for you. Special orders require a 50% deposit before we order the item from the manufacturer. If we are unable to obtain the product, your deposit will be refunded. Unless specific prior arrangements are made, special order items may not be returned.

Return Policy:
Your satisfaction is very important to us. In most cases, we take our own product photos and write our own descriptions, so you can obtain a clear picture of what you’re getting. However, if for any reason you are dissatisfied with one of our products, you may return the product within 14 days of receipt for a refund less shipping costs (shipping costs are not refundable). Returns must be pre-authorized by contacting us via email or phone – do not just ship it back to us.

As we are always looking for ways to improve our product line, it would be most helpful to us if you would provide a brief explanation as to the nature of your dissatisfaction.

In all cases of returns, merchandise must be in new condition, in the correct packaging, with the insert slips in the packaging. Washed or laundered items, food, or soap / bath products, cannot be returned. Upon receiving the returned product, we will inspect it and then issue a refund or exchange if these terms have been met. Once we have received your return, and have examined it and verified that the return conditions have been met, we will issue your credit. Any items not in the correct packaging or in new condition as described above, or returned after the 14 day window, will be charged a 50% restocking fee.

Items returned to us and damaged in the shipping process cannot be refunded (you must then make a claim to the shipping company, so they can refund you). So, take care when repacking the item(s), and (if it is a breakable item) purchase shipping insurance if not automatically included by the shipper.

Shipping Methods:  All orders are shipped United States Postal Service Priority Mail or FedEx Home Delivery.  Both USPS and FedEx charge based on weight of package and shipping zone (please see www.USPS.com or www.FedEx.com for more information).  All orders are shipped from Washington State, zip code 98021. 

Shipping Charges:  We charge exact shipping charges.  We work hard to pack each order in the safest and most cost effective way possible, and research to find the least expensive shipping method for each order.  We reduce waste by recycling and reusing shipping boxes and packing materials, thus we do not charge any extra handing or packaging fees.
After packing your order, we calculate postage and insurance, then process your payment.  At checkout you will be given an approximation of your shipping charges, based on standard delivery and default order processing.  This shipping “charge” will then be adjusted to reflect actual shipping calculations, plus any applicable requested special instructions.  Your invoice will show your total charges.  If you have any further questions about shipping, please feel free to email us at sales@theweedpatchstore.com.

Since our shopping cart cannot calculate exact shipping at the time of checkout, we provide a general estimate of what your shipping is likely to cost, for standard delivery.  Actual shipping may be a few dollars less if the items are small or light in weight, or more if the items are large and heavy, if you have special delivery instructions (such as overnight), or if your order is broken up into multiple shipments.

Total shipping charges include insurance.  By request, we will not include insurance in your shipping charges, but by doing this you accept full responsibility for any and all shipping damages.

Shipping Backorders or Preorders:
We strive to keep our website current, but from time to time items may be on backorder or no longer available from the manufacturer. You will be notified by email as soon as possible if there is any problem with your order, so please be sure to keep an eye on your email inbox.

Generally, we will not ship your order until all items are in stock and can be shipped at once, as typically this produces the lowest shipping charges. We work to get you your order in the fastest yet most economical way possible. If a preordered or backordered item is expected to take longer than week or two, we’ll contact you before shipping to see how you’d like to proceed. If you have a preference, please let us know in the checkout comments section.

Rush shipping:  If you need overnight delivery or similar expedited shipping, please indicate your needs in the comments section upon checking out. We require your authorization via email before we finalize and ship your order, so please be certain to check your email. We will process your order as quickly as possible, but please be aware that most orders still require 1-7 days to process before they are ready to ship.

International Orders:  Yes, we do ship internationally!  We’ll ship anywhere USPS will ship.  We pack these orders especially carefully, in the most cost effective method possible.

"In Store Pickup" Policies:
To better serve our local customers, we have created an "in-store" pickup option (as a shipping option). This option will cost you nothing, but you must pick your purchase up within 15 days of purchase. Purchases remaining unclaimed after 15 days will be mailed, at buyer's expense, to the billing address on the purchase order.

Preorders:
Seasonal items are not typically available once they are out of stock, as usually our companies do one seasonal run before moving on to the next, and thus sell out quickly. To allow our customers top selection, we have begun offering preorders on many of our seasonal items. This means you may purchase seasonal items now, and the merchandise will be mailed to you as soon as the stock arrives, typically several weeks (or even months) before the “season” officially begins. Please see the specific product for when the item is expected to ship.

Payment methods:

  • Credit Card:  Our shopping cart collects your credit card information securely, and is charged for the order total plus shipping (and any applicable taxes) once the order is ready to ship.  We then delete it.  For your protection, and as a security “best practice,” we do not store your credit card information.
  • Phone Payment:  If you prefer to pay over the phone, you may select “phone order” as your payment method when you are checking out.  You then must call us to provide your credit card information over the phone.
  • Check or Money Order:  You may also pay via check or money order.  When your order is packed and shipping calculated, we will email you your invoice.  Simply mail your check or money order to us at the below address, and once it clears, we will ship your order.

Tax: We are located in Washington State, and must charge Washington State residents the tax percentage associated with their area.

Errors:
If we have made a shipping error, please contact us immediately, so we can work out a solution. Most often this means we will pick up the order at our expense, and once we have verified the error, send you the correct merchandise. If the merchandise is no longer available, we will refund your purchase. Error claims must be made within 2 days of receipt of your order.

Shipping Damages:
Please examine your package immediately upon receipt. If there is shipping damage, you must notify us within 2 days of receipt, by e-mail, and we will arrange for carrier to verify shipping damage. You must keep all shipment packaging, as the carrier may require it in order to verify damages. Damaged items will be replaced with the same item and we may require that the item be returned prior to exchange. If an item cannot be replaced due to unavailability, then we will refund your purchase.

Washing Instructions
We do not accept returns for laundered items. As with any 100% cotton linen products, our products should be washed the first time in cold water on gentle cycle with white vinegar to set color, line dry.

Privacy Policy:
Your privacy is very important to us. When you provide us with your personal information, you are agreeing to receive any marketing or sales information we may send by mail or email, including, but not limited to, new products, articles, sales, discounts, and specials. Your information will be kept in the strictest confidence, and will not be shared (or sold) with any individual or party under any circumstance. Should you choose to be taken off our registration list, simply use the link at the bottom of any of our email correspondence and you will automatically be removed immediately.

Wholesale Inquiries:
At this time, we are a retail business only. We are not the manufacturer of the vast majority of our products, so we do not have the ability to wholesale to other businesses.
