Hand-painted in the USA, using a multi-step process of paint layering, sanding, glazing, and finishing to achieve a rustic look. It is a beautiful nautical blue with hand painted polka dots and anchor in white.
Measures 13 inches long, 9.25 inches wide, and about 1 inch deep. Finished with several coats of protective satin varnish, and has a jute hanger (not shown).
This is a handmade item, not a reproduction - while meticulous attention has been placed on quality, it is not machine-reproduced-perfection. As with all hand-made artwork, brush-strokes are visible, and little imperfections that are characteristic of an item uniquely and lovingly made by the human hand.
