Starlight Starbright Snowman Wood Plate
Great for keeping up all through the winter, this decorative wood plate features a hand-painted snowman in the center wearing a red plaid scarf and holding a folksy star.
SIZE
Measures approx 8.5 inches in diameter, and 3/8 inches deep.
COLOR
Plate painted a beautiful deep burgundy/wine red color, antiqued with black around the outer and inner rims for depth. Hand-lettered around the rim is "Starlight, Starbright." Background behind snowman is crackled and antiqued in shades of mustard and dark brown, with white "snow." Sealed with several coats of satin varnish for protection. Signed on the back.
MATERIALS
Made of a rustic, heavy duty pressed wood. We recycle old wooden decorative plates for my paintings - the material is naturally textured, uneven, and rustic. Plates are further distressed and antiqued to enhance the vintage, chippy look. Not food safe - Decorative use only!
These plates are freehand painted, without the use of stencils, vinyl, transfers, stickers, or any other kind of pattern. If you look closely, you can sometime see the pencil sketches! Each one is a one-of-a-kind work of art - When you purchase one of our plates , you're buying a little piece of art right out of an artist's studio!
