SIZE: Measures approx 10 inches in diameter, and 1/4 inch thick.
COLOR: Features a hand-painted crow with a mustard yellow star, and reads "Keep life Simple." Plate has a cream center with antiquing, and the rim is dark mustard. Lots of sanding and antiquing for depth and shows some of the black underneath for an aged look. Sealed with several coats of satin varnish for protection. Signed on the back.
MATERIAL: Made of a rustic, heavy duty pressed wood. I recycle old wooden decorative plates for my paintings - the material is naturally textured, uneven, and rustic. My plates are further distressed and antiqued to enhance the vintage, chippy look. Not food safe - Decorative use only!
PROCESS: Each plate is hand-painted in the USA using the artist's own exclusive design - no stencils, vinyl, transfers, stickers, or any other kind of pattern is used. If you look closely, you can sometime see the artist's pencil sketches! Each one is a one-of-a-kind work of art.
DISPLAY: You will need a plate easel to display this plate, it does not free stand (easel shown in photo is just a prop and not included). You may also hang this plate by installing a sawtooth hanger, or spring loaded plate hanger.

As with all hand-made artwork, brush-strokes are visible, and little imperfections that are characteristic of an item uniquely and lovingly made by the human hand.
