SIZE: Will measure roughly 4-5 inches wide, 3.5-4 inches high, and 1/2-5/8 inch thick. Shape/size will vary somewhat, depending on the reclaimed wood on hand.
COLOR: Background is dusty blue, heavily distressed and antiqued with black for a rustic look. Lettering is freehand painted in white, with black drop shadow. small roses, leaves, and vines are hand painted in each bottom corner. Roses are shades of pink/coral, and the berries on the vines are light peach.
ABOUT THE PROCESS: These signs are created start to finish right here in the Pacific Northwest! Each one painted freehand without patterns or stencils, ensuring a unique piece of decor that can't be found in any department store. ABOUT THE WOOD: All signs are painted in reclaimed wood found throughout the Pacific Northwest - torn down homes and barns, old fences, cast-offs from builders, etc. Each piece of wood is unique, with lots and lots of grain, cracks, knots, and individual character - perfectly imperfect! This particular sign is made from western red cedar.
FINISHING: Sealed on all sides with satin varnish, with jute rope or sawtooth hanger attached. Completely finished and signed by the artist on the back.
