COLOR: Letters are freehand painted in off-white. Background is painted a neutral, muted olive green/gray color, heavily distressed and antiqued with black.
ABOUT THE PROCESS: These signs are created start to finish right here in the Pacific Northwest! Each one painted freehand without patterns or stencils, ensuring a unique piece of decor that can't be found in any department store. When you purchase one of these signs, you're buying a little piece of art right out of an artist's studio!
ABOUT THE WOOD: All signs are painted in reclaimed wood found throughout the Pacific Northwest - torn down homes and barns, old fences, cast-offs from builders, etc. Each piece of wood is unique, with lots and lots of grain, cracks, knots, and individual character - perfectly imperfect! This particular sign is made from western red cedar.
FINISHING: Sealed on all sides with satin varnish, with sawtooth or jute hanger attached. Completely finished and signed by the artist on the back.
