Welcome to Our Garden Sign
Several years ago, a family friend tore down a very old cedar fence on her property and gave us all the wood. It is beautifully grained, rustic and distressed as only nature can do. All signs we've made from this wood are completely one-of-a-kind, as they are freehand painted, and the boards in limited supply.
This one reads "Welcome to our garden," featuring painted leafy vines. Sealed with outdoor varnish, this one can be hung outside!
SIZE
Sign measures 13.75 x 5.5 inches, 5/8 inches thick.
COLOR
Background is a neutral peach color, heavily distressed and antiqued with black. Lettering is vintage white, outlined with hunter green. Also features hand painted leafy vines in shades of green.
Triple sealed with satin varnish, plus two coats of outdoor sealer. Sawtooth hanger attached. Signed on the back by the artist.
ABOUT THE WOOD
All signs are painted in reclaimed wood found throughout the Pacific Northwest. Each piece of wood is unique, with lots of grain, cracks, knots, and individual character - perfectly imperfect! This particular sign is painted on a piece of cedar from a very old torn down fence.
These signs are made start to finish right here in the Pacific Northwest, each one painted freehand without patterns or stencils, ensuring a unique piece of decor that can't be found in any department store! When you purchase one of our signs, you're buying a little piece of art right out of an artist's studio!
